Q - Will the property be in my name?

A - Yes - once necessary documentation has been completed you will receive an offical certificate - with your name and photograpy - isued by the government.TOP




Q - Are the properties freehold?

A - Yes. We do not deal with leasehold properties. TOP




Q - If I want to live in Turkey permanently can I obtain residency?

A - Yes. Residency permits are quite easy to obtain, especially for property owners.Our staff will help to quite you through the process.TOP




Q - If I dont want to live in Turkey permanently but just come and go, can I still own a property and how often can I visit?

A - Yes you can own a property and visit as often as you wish. You willbe issued with an entrance visa when you arrive in Turkey. This is a multiple entry visa and lasts for a duration of there months.TOP




Q - Do I need a solicitor?

A - No. When making such purchases in Turkey, all legal matters pertaining to the purchase are processed by a Noter ( government official ) our staff will quide you through this process. All searches and conveyancing are carried out by us as part of our service.TOP




Q - What do I need to start the process and how long does it take?

A - All you need is your passport. İts also a good idea to open a bank account. This is as straightforward as in the UK and can be done with the smallest denomination banknote you have avaible. All of this will take less than half a day.TOP




Q - Do buldings do have to conform to registered standards?

A - Yes, legaly buildings do have to comform to resignated government atsndards. All materials used in our builds are 'TSE Standart' (translated = Turkish Standard Institue).TOP




Q - What do include in your package?

A - Our basic package compries- All bathroom ceramics, porcelain and permanent fittings. Kitchen units, ceramics and permanent fittings. Flooring throughout- either marble or tiles. Fitted wardrobes in bedrooms. Central heating and air conditioning structures (not radiators and units). Cables for TV and telephones. Paint on internal walls- Colour of your choice. External wall paint. Boundary walling.TOP




Q - Can I change the interior plans?

A - Interior plans can be changed at the onset of the project. We would endeavour to accommodate any changes- even upto the last minute PROVIDED that budgetary matters are not affected AND MORE IMPORTANTLY the changes conform to local building regulations and safety standards.TOP




Q - What about insurance?

A - Certain covers are compulsory- Such as Earthquake. Full insurance packages are avaible for buildings, contents and personal. Several reputable companies operate in Turkey and offer very good service. Commercial Union is just one example.TOP




Q - How do I get my home furnished? What choices do I have?

A - Our staff will be more than happy to accompany you on shopping trips, help with translation and negotiation and organise deliveries. We can even carry out this work in your absense if you wish- by following your guide lines. Fethiye (our local town) has a broad range of furnishing and white goods/electrical outlets which can cater for all your needs.TOP




Q - What would be the apporoximate running costs of my home?

A - Obviously this depends largely on size of property and İndividual useage of utilities, however a guide would be:
Yearly property tax -100 - 200 GBP.
Bi-monthly Electricity bill -20 -50 GBP
Bi-monthly Water bill -20 GBP. 40TOP




Q - Can I buy things like a land line telephone? And what about a car?

A - Once you have obtained residency you can own these outright in your own name.TOP




Q - When I'm not around who will look after my property? Who will pick up my bills?

A - We will maintain a general interest in the property and watch out for any points which need attention ı.e. storm damage. We can help arrange for a local person to keep watch on the property, take care of the garden and swimming pool. We can watch out for the arrival of bills and make sure that payment is kept uptodate.TOP

A - We can help carry out the work and/or arrange for reliable companies to offer the best service at competitive prices.TOP




Q - Is there a local cleaning service?

A - Yes- we can put you in touch with someone who can make sure that your home is ready for your arrival. All you have to do is mix the drink and then jump into the pool!!!TOP
